Common Questions
Commonly asked questions about drug and alcohol treatment centers.
/--Headers are done, start the real content.--//>
How much do treatment centers cost?
Costs vary widely depending on the type of treatment to be performed, quality of service, etc. Each treatment
center has its own pricing structure. Private treatment centers can cost anywhere from several hundred dollars a month to tens of thousands of dollars per month.
I can't afford private treatment. What can I do?
Some treatment centers have sliding-scale fees. Based on your income, a drug and alcohol treatment center that incorporates sliding-scale fees can lower the cost of its program for you.
If private treatment is still not possible, a community behavioral healthcare program may be an alternative option.
Check out the NCCBH website for more information.
How long does rehab last?
Depends on the type of treatment. Detox lasts less than a month, while long-term treatment can last several months.
What kind of living arrangements should I expect?
Typically, treatment centers place two residents together in a room. However, some facilities allow residents to stay in a room by themselves for an
additional cost.
Can family and friends visit me while in treatment?
Yes.
What should I bring with me to rehab?
Imagine that you're going on a trip for a few weeks. Bring clothes and a few personal items.
